This site covers how to verify the App Store listing, install the app and make an initial connection, import an existing subscription, configure rule-based routing, and understand configuration fields. The manual explains procedures and configuration settings; it does not guarantee results for any particular network, server status, or connection. Shadowrocket is a closed-source commercial app designed primarily for iPhone and iPad.

2. Tutorial Accuracy and Interface Changes

Tutorials are based on the app interface and App Store information that could be checked when they were written. Layouts, option locations, fields, and system prompts may change with app or system updates, and some instructions may not yet reflect those changes. If a label or location differs, check the current interface before proceeding rather than following older steps blindly.

Rule examples illustrate syntax and are not complete configurations for every situation. Before editing Config, DNS, or Global Routing, keep a copy of the original configuration and confirm which file is active. Errors may affect DNS resolution, connectivity, or traffic routing. Verify changes one at a time; if something goes wrong, restore a working configuration before troubleshooting further.

3. App Purchase and Service Boundaries

This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions. Instructions for Add Server, Subscribe, and importing assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. Check with your service provider to confirm your authorization to use that information, its validity period, and connection requirements.

A one-time purchase of the app does not include a proxy service. Buying Shadowrocket grants a license to use the app; it does not provide a server or network service. Server maintenance, network conditions, and service changes may affect connectivity. A latency test alone cannot confirm that a website, DNS, and routing rules are all working correctly.

4. App Store Purchases and Verification
