Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026

This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual, with information on obtaining the genuine app, app settings, configuration fields, and troubleshooting. Please read these terms before accessing or using the site. App purchases, browsing the website, and users’ own use of network services are separate matters and are governed by their respective rules.

1. Scope and sources

These terms apply to use of this site’s pages, written guidance, and configuration examples. The app’s license, App Store transactions, and account matters remain subject to the terms presented at the time of purchase. This page does not replace App Store transaction rules or change any rights you may have under applicable law.

The official manual is based on information that can be verified on the App Store page and in the app. Interface locations, settings, and steps may change as the app is updated. If the instructions differ from what you currently see, check the in-app options and App Store information before proceeding.

2. Getting the app and purchase terms

Shadowrocket is a paid app for Apple platforms, primarily used on iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. To verify the genuine app, check the developer, Shadow Launch Technology Limited, the official icon, and app ID 932747118. Refer to the App Store listing for the price, system requirements, device compatibility, Universal Purchase availability, and eligibility to restore purchases.

A one-time purchase of the app does not include a service plan. Buying the app covers use of the client only; this site does not provide nodes or subscription services. Import and connection instructions assume that you already have your own subscription or server details. For payments, refunds, and restoring purchases, follow the App Store process. This site cannot handle transactions on your behalf.

3. Responsible use and user responsibilities

You must comply with the laws and regulations that apply where you are located and to your activities. Do not use the app, this site’s guidance, or configuration examples for unlawful purposes or to infringe others’ privacy, intellectual property, or network rights. When using a network operated by an employer, school, or other organization, follow its network policies as well.

Make sure you are authorized to use any imported subscription, server, and configuration, and manage your own account and access credentials. Before submitting a question or sharing logs, remove passwords, credentials embedded in subscription URLs, and other personal information. Keep a copy of your original configuration before changing rules, DNS, or connection settings so you can review or restore it.

4. Availability and liability

The app is sold on the App Store. Nothing on this website guarantees continuous availability, a particular connection outcome, or fitness for a specific purpose. Actual use depends on factors such as your device, system permissions, local network, the services you access, and any servers you already have. Example rules may not suit every configuration.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for loss of use or data resulting from temporary website or app unavailability, changes to user configurations, or network outages. Back up important data yourself. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

5. Intellectual property and citations

The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related product intellectual property belong to its developer or the respective rights holders. The official icon and interface terms are shown to identify the product and explain its use. This does not grant visitors any rights to the trademark, app reproduction, or commercial distribution.

When citing this site’s guidance, credit the source and preserve its original meaning. Do not remove essential conditions or present the guidance as a promise of service results. Configuration examples are provided to explain syntax only. Before using them, check the target, policies, and current configuration; do not overwrite important settings without review.

6. Changes to these terms and questions

We may revise these terms to reflect content updates, App Store rules, or legal requirements. Any changes will be published on this page, and the last-updated month at the beginning will be revised. Updated terms apply to website use from the date they are posted and do not retroactively diminish rights you already have under applicable law. Any legal requirements to the contrary will prevail.

If you have a question about how to use the app or notice a discrepancy in the instructions, see Troubleshooting or the user guide and check the relevant section against what you see and your settings. For app verification, pricing, and purchase restoration before buying, see App Store purchase information.
